These were good, but not great. I was so looking forward to making (and eating) them but was a little disappointed. Too much sour cream taste, not enough cheesecake taste.

I took these to our monthly Game Night and they were a huge hit! Everyone loved them!

I found these to be good, but not great. The texture was a little bit too eggy for me and I think the filling could use just a little bit more sugar. I took them to work and most people liked them but all agreed that it wasn’t a “rave worthy” dessert.

I did two things differently then the recipe. I used store brand knock-off “oreos” for half the price, and I used my springform pan instead of a sheet to make an actual cheesecake. Otherwise I followed the directions to the letter. This was my first time baking a cheesecake, but it was super easy to do and it turned out great. Sweet and creamy but not too rich, my boyfriend and I were quite happy with it. The crust got a tiny bit burnt he said but otherwise it was great!

I could hardly wait to make these! For Christmas I made Oreo Truffles and they were CHOICE! I used the mint cookies, and just yesterday I received another compliment on them!

I made the bars last night and this morning had a couple for breakfast… Euuuuuuuuw! Salty! Like eating potato chips, not dessert. Did anyone else have a problem with the 1/2 tsp. salt being too much? I use kosher salt for cooking. I would appreciate any feedback you might have. Living alone, his was an expensive throw out project for me., as I can’t give them to anyone.

Otherwise they were great and I will make them again – for my son to take to his workplace, and I will NOT use any salt.
