If you like the taste of Welch’s grape juice of jelly then try this pie! It sounds a little daunting to prepare the grapes, but really it’s fun and easy. I just pop the skins off while I’m watching tv and once that’s done the pie is super easy to finish.
Oh – you will have a hard time finding concord grapes though, except late September – October. I buy enough to make several batches of pie filling and freeze it.
