To start, what size pie crust? I used a 9″ and it was almost overflowing without the whipped cream. Also when it says “reduce the milk mixture” do you mean reduce it in amount by boiling it for a bit or reduce the heat on the milk mixture? An estimate on the amount of time to boil it for would help me. And the only other thing I was wondering is, do I use all the cornstarch/water mixture or should I just stop adding it once the milk mixture begins to thicken? I added it all and the mixture seemed a little gluey.
I am sorry for asking so many questions, I just found the recipe a little confusing once I got into it and I do cook quite a bit. Thanks for the recipe, I cannot wait to eat it tomorrow.
