These were sooo tasty but didn't set for me :( I added a ton more icing sugar but they stayed really soft and gooey. I wanted to give them as gifts so needed them to be hard enough to handle so I simply rolled them into balls and covered in chocolate. Really delicious though!

I followed the recipe exactly and got great results. They were a huge hit at our Christmas eve party, and I shared the recipe with three family members already. Thanks!

These little mints were so incredibly easy and the flavor is just wonderful as they melt in your mouth. Elegant in their appearance, I could easily see these at a wedding reception. Today I topped each of mine with a few red crystal-sugar flakes to Christmas them up a bit. As I was piping the chocolate into the wells, my mind began racing with variations. For example, a little red food color in the minted ingredients, carefully folded in to create a festive candy cane type swirl, and then melt white-chocolate chips for the center, sprinkled with a few flakes of green or red crystal sugar, or just a few rainbow sprinkles. I give these little sweets 5 Oven Mitts for their simplicity, flavor, and the unlimited possibilities to customize them for any holiday or special event. Thanks so much for sharing, MissAmy...this one goes into the real recipe box and will indeed be used time and time again!

Definitely too much sugar (or not enough cream cheese). I followed the directions, but the mixture was too dry. I added more cream cheese until I reached a good consistency, but still not sure if they were right. My kids loved them, but they were not what I was hoping they'd be to take to our Christmas party.

These were wonderful! I used slightly less powdered sugar as I was worried the mixture was going to be too dry and unworkable. Everyone that tried them said they were amazing. I plan to make more this week!

ooooooooooooooo... I can't wait to try these. Always wanted to make homemade peppermint patties, but I wasn't so sure I'd like the chocolate-dipping part. Whatta brilliant variation!
