I am not a baker, but these looked so good, I had to try . I made these with my daughter and her friend today. I did do a double take when I saw there was no eggs. I was out of vanilla, so I added a little more milk. I pressed down with a spoon like the recipe says. They turned out GREAT! They are very tasty and the girls loved them. I have tried many recipes for cookies that never turn out very good. For a person that doesn't enjoy baking I have to say these are my best cookies ever!

Our Walmart didn't have any green mints chips, so we used Andes peppermint chips. The recipe was awesome! I also used almond milk, since we allergic to cow milk. My cookies flattened out (I used a spoon; I don't have a scoop) and I don't really care, since they tasted so good. They are rich and perfect for the holidays. The only problem is that they're being eaten too fast!

My family LOVED these and ate them all right away. I used the seasonal nestle mint and chocolate chip mix 10 oz bag. My husband said that was the perfect amount of mint and I agree. The kids want me to use all mint chips next time. I wonder if the Guittard mint chips are less minty or it would be too much for us. Those by the way can be ordered online from King Arthur Flour for those looking.

I agree with Jillpickle on the consistency of the dough. My cookies never spread out either. Half my cookies were cooked without chilling the dough and half with chilling and there was no noticeable difference so in the future I would just skip that step. Overall a very yummy cookie! I have requests for another batch today :)

I'm torn here. I love the flavor but the recipe itself seems a bit off somehow. No egg or maybe not enough milk but it seems to be too thick of a dough. Mine did not spread out at all and instead remained in the shape of my mini cookie scoop. I don't really understand what the chilling of the dough does either. It only made the dough harder to get out as if the thickness wasn't enough to struggle with already. Nice idea but I think I'll look elsewhere or use it in my brownie cookie recipe. This dough just didn't work for me.

NO WAY! I found some mint chips at my local grocery store the other day and planned to make some chocolate cookies with them included today, using my brand-new oven. Now I have the perfect recipe. Thanks, I'll let you know how they turn out.
