i make this cake to take to church potlucks. it is always a big hit. the mayonnaise makes the cake super moist.

My mother in law makes a great chocolate mayonnaise cake (slightly different recipe). I am going to try this one and see how it compares…I will report back! Have a great day!

Great recipe! I made this the other day and even though I over baked it (was out gardening and forgot about it), it was still pretty moist and flavorful… best chocolate cake I have ever made! thank you so much! I turned it into a german chocolate and layered it with homeade coconut, pecan filling.
