I made this for Pi Day (3/14) and it turned out pretty well. I added a few extra chocolate chips, but they didn't get very melty and they separated from the pie upon cutting. If I make this again, I will probably use at least half a cup and sprinkle them on top so they sink through the filling upon baking. The filling was pretty goopy and the oats didn't get very soft. All in all, it tastes delicious, but I think my personal preference for this type of pie is a chocolate chip cookie pie, sans oats. Of course, it's going over very well at work for our Pi Day celebration! Thanks for sharing.

Delicious! So easy to make and so good. I did add some chopped toasted walnuts just because I love chocolate and nuts but this recipe would also be awsome without them!!

This is a great pie! I made it exactly as the recipe calls out and it was wonderful. Next time I might try replacing half the oats with chopped, toasted pecans, but then again I might not. It was wonderful just as it is!

I added more chocolatechips, and even added some dark chocolate (bitter) ones. Which worked a treat really. Since we don't really have storebought piecrusts here i had to make my own. Using jamies sweet pastry recipe.

This pie is so good! I had one similar to it at a local restaurant ans knew I needed to make it. I used a heaping 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (because I felt sassy) and it turned out excellently. Thanks for sharing the recipe! :)
