I’ve not come across a similar recipe in all the cookbooks I have, so thought it would be good here. I think my Mom got it from her sister-in-law, but have no idea of the true origins. We always called them Chocolate Chip Light Brownies (as they’re not a dark brownie), but I thought the Meringue in the title would make them stand out more to people.
