I love this. My husband and all of his IT friends love these. Several people I know couldn't wrap their heads around a chocolate chip cookie with bacon; however, this cookie has the perfect combination of sweet and salty. I added a maple glaze to the top of each cookie, used real bacon bits instead of frying up bacon (and topped the glaze with a sprinkling of more bacon bits) and used both white chocolate and semisweet chocolate chips. These cookies are delicious!

Very interesting. Not my style though. My dad loved them and didn't even notice the bacon, but I didn't find too many other people who liked them.

I had to try this for the novelty of it, not expecting to really like this, but they really took me by surprise! Adding bacon grease to cookie dough was about the weirdest thing I've ever done in my kitchen and it was the first time I've ever been afraid, er... apprehensive, about tasting my own food.

They're good! Not super sweet, but very reminiscent of breakfast. I think if you like McD's McGriddles you will like these.

You have to make these... just to say you did.
