I tried your chocolate chip suggestion, and now I’m wondering what else might be good in it – cherries or something, maybe.

Watching the cake level keep rising in the cup as it cooked made me nervous but it really never spilled. I was amazed. (I will have to make this again, if only to watch that again.)
