I think the difference is that you make the “batter” a lot like a cake…. creaming the butter and sugar, etc. Oh boy, the taste is fabulous and I love the amount of the cherries. Oh and good call on the ice cream… it definitely is the “cherry” on top. :) Thx for sharing this recipe!
