I bought a variety of apples, using 2 Honeycrisp, 2 Brauburn, and 2 Granny Smith. I also misplaced my measuring spoons so I estimated on some of the ingredients but it still turned out AMAZING. It was the perfect amount of sweet and crunch. Husband loved it, I will be making it again!

We bought Rome apples and neither of us liked them (raw) so I thought about making baked apples. I found this recipe and decided to make this instead.
I made this today for a family member who loves all things apple. I am not a huge warm fruit lover, but after having my hands in it and smelling the scrumptious smells from the oven I had to try it. It was delicious and all eaten - and chosen above a few other desserts! My husband told me that it was a keeper and I agree! We did have store bought caramel sauce on the side just in case, but didn't really need it.
