What a great and easy recipe! Anytime we make pies, I try to throw this one in the oven too with whatever else we’re making.

I took this to a pre-Thanksgiving “pie party” last night. I got tons of compliments. People went crazy for this pie and one person I met at the party actually Facebook stalked me to ask for the recipe!
I added quite a bit of freshly ground (microplaned) nutmeg and I think that put it over the top.
This was so quick and easy I will definitely be making it again!

Have made this twice now (couldn’t let good buttermilk go to waste). The only change I made was to double the vanilla (we love vanilla). This was delicious. Thanks.
