This is a fabulous dessert! I’d give it ten mitts! I stuck to the recipe but you could use whatever ice cream you like (translation – I’ll be finding new ways to make this dessert all summer!) I served this yummy yummy dessert with a fresh strawberries on top and warm hot fudge sauce. One note – the crunchy base/topping in this recipe is sooooo crazy good that I’ll make it on its own to have around for a sundae topping.

Thanks everyone! Sweetpea Nancy – by prepared pan I mean greased or parchment paper (or Silpat), whatever your preference! Just so that the base doesn’t stick. I hope you all give this recipe a try – it is so unbelievably good, words honestly can’t describe it!

Just a question: You mention “prepared pan”, what exactly do you mean by this? Parment paper lined, greased? This recipe looks so good, I must make this for our next family dinner.
