I grew up with my mom making these, but she used 2/3 cup melted butter and 1 tsp vanilla. I’ll try your version and compare.

if the brownies are as good as the batter, I’m in trouble! We post rating after they finish cooking. I changed them up a bit.

good and really easy! the batter was definitely thick (almost thought i was doing something wrong) and the brownies were dense and chewy.

I made these brownies yesterday and everyone loved them! They were so sweet (maybe too sweet), I’m going to have to detox today, but thank you for the delicious, chewy brownie.

I decided to try these when we wanted brownies but realized we were out of cocoa. They are delicious! Everyone in our house has decided to call them cookie brownies.
