I would add at least 1/4 cup of milk to make this filling work better. I thought the flavor was good and actually it was not overly sweet and that really brought out the fresh flavor of the blueberries.  I would try this recipe again with this alteration.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I had an excess of blueberries and a hankerin&#039; to bake, so when this recipe popped up the morning, I started in on it right away.  Besides which, I can&#039;t resist anything related to pie - unlike the creator of the recipe I love pie!!  
I did have one issue with the recipe - A) I&#039;m not a fan of condensed milk and B) I didn&#039;t have any, anyway.  So I went online and looked for a substitute.  Most of these seem to involve dried milk, water and sugar, but I found one that was egg-based and tried that.  Other than that I followed the recipe exactly.  Two notes - I thought a tablespoon and a half of vanilla extract in the topping might be too much, but it was good.  And also the topping is very thick - at least with my condensed milk substitute it was.  I added a little water to help it spread - then again my blueberries were frozen which did not help with spreadability, either.
Anyway, definitely a recipe for the keeper file!  Thanks!]]></description>
