Loved this. Really easy. Next time I may cut down on the sugar in the berries since mine were super sweet to begin with and didn't need the extra sugar. Definitely a make-again recipe.

Eh. The uncooked blueberries were tastier, I think. It's not bad, but I don't recommend it.

Really excellent! It has an unusual crust that's very cookie like, though it's a bar. Love it and will make it again.

I just made these bars last night! They turned out perfectly!

I am addicted to the fresh berries we can get here on the OR coast, and love finding new and yummy ways to use them. These bars will be added to my "repertoire".

The recipe is easy to make, and seemingly pretty fool-proof! Yum!

I just made these (am eating them as I write this!) and they are indeed delicious! Very fool-proof too. My oven can be pretty sensitive, so I usually have to time things just right to avoid burning. With these, I forgot to set a timer at all and just sort of winged it and they still turned out perfect! Husband loves them as well, and neither of us are huge blueberry fans to begin with.

Only one negative comment, which is that for mine at least, each bite had a salty aftertaste in the crust. I think it was the kosher salt. I'll try with regular salt next time. Still delicious anyway! =) Thanks for the great recipe!

Really amazing, you NEED to make these!
The recipe would be just fine as is, but I made a couple of changes. I needed more than just a 9x9 pan so I added another 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup of oats to the crust ingredients. I used a pan that is a bit smaller than a 9x13. I used 1 cup of strawberries and just over 2 cups of blueberries, but otherwise followed the filling ingredients as listed. I did have to bake this longer, more like 17 minutes the first time in the oven and 28-30 minutes the second time. These bars turned out perfect and were loved by everyone eating them. In fact more than one person said they were the best bars ever and everyone went back for seconds or thirds. I did make homemade vanilla ice cream to go with, which made them over the top and very yummy, but they are just fine all on heir own.
Just had one for breakfast and they are still delicious the next day! (not at all soggy from the fruit or anything)
Go make these NOW! You won't regret it.
