Of your two cobbler offerings, I tried number two because it looked more like what I am used to.

I like to highlight positives, so I will start with ease of preparation and presentation: this was super easy to make and it came out of the oven looking like a million bucks. Helloooo Nurse!

However, the topping seemed almost too "biscuity" for my tastes. Don't get me wrong, I love me some biscuits, but as a cobbler topping this was a little dry (granted, I didn't have any vanilla ice cream available as an accompaniment). The blackberry filling was delicious.

As always, thanks for sharing, Ree. You are a peach.

I made this last night for some friends. It was delicious and so easy to put together. The cobbler part is not too sweet, and makes a nice counterpoint to the sweet berries. I'll definitely be making this again.

This oh-so-yummy cobbler was super easy to make and such a crowd pleaser. I brought it to a dinner party the other night and it was totally gobbled up! I used frozen blackberries because fresh were super expensive and it tasted great. I let the blackberries sit out for about 30 minutes before preparing the cobbler. I will for sure be making this again. Thanks P-Dub!!!
