It was easy to make, even though I separated it into to round pans so I could serve it stacked in a trifle dish. If you’ve never served a dump cake, they won’t stand up like a traditional cake, and they are usually served in the baking dish–we were being fancy though. :)

The kiddos and their Daddy all liked it, it was quite rich so we’ll definitely get more than 8 servings from it.
