I first made it when I had a vegan friend coming to visit. It is really delicious. I don’t like icing so having the chips on top is perfect for me. You could ice it if you wanted to. If you make cupcakes with it, use liners as the cake is delicate and when I tried they wouldn’t come out without falling apart.

I asked my hubby what he thought and he just said “don’t bother me…. eating” which he usually only does when something is especially delicious! It bakes up fluffy and tall its really a nice cake! I love baking but hate when a cake and frosting together require a pound of butter! I knew a cake didn’t need butter or eggs to be delicious I’m glad I found this recipe!
