I sold them at a bake sale and one woman said they were the best cookies she’s ever eaten. It’s so quick and easy to make these and takes variations quite well. I didn’t have whole wheat flour so I used amaranth flour in place of it (go figure why i hat *that!*); had no pecans but walnuts worked great, and I didn’t have butterscotch chips so I just used more choc chips. My kids wolfed down two each as soon as they came out of the oven. I felt fine letting them since it had such healthy ingredients (I consider chocolate a health food but I also mean the oatmeal, ground flax seeds, etc.) This is going to be a standard in our house for sure.
