I went into this hoping for the best since all the reviews are fantastic… but my custard never seemed to “set” and the next day had separated and turned into a soupy mess. Any tips on what I might have done wrong?

This recipe was a total success. I did put in some banana flavoring, just not enough. Next time I will try 1 tsp or more. Got an order for one so am making it again tonight. I will report back. THanks for sharing this recipe.

Pouring hot custard over the bananas will infuse the banana flavor throughout the custard. I’m using this recipe asap. THanks for sharing.

I made this the other night and it came out so great! It was the highlight of our evening! The only thing I did different was substituted one of the cups of milk with evaporated milk since I was short a little regular milk.
