This is a split review. The brownie itself is fine, but nothing exciting. Three stars. But the icing. Oh, the icing. Total keeper. Five starts.

Used the brownie recipe to make salt caramel brownies. With the addition of 1/2 t. baking powder they puff up and become more cakelike. I’m a fudge lover myself, but still a tasty recipe.

These were so YUMMY! Loved the frosting, and love how the outside was just a touch crispy and the inside was ooey-gooey-goodness. Will definitely be making these again, and again, and again…

these were really good. I agree with the poster that said they were better the second day refrigerated! Easy and delicious, the whole family loved them!

well I’ve done died and gone to brownie heaven. : ) These to not disappoint. I made them about a month ago, and plan to make them again for a family gathering. Yum, and with three teen’s visiting me today I am sure the pan will be emptied. Thks for sharing a fantastic recipe. Highly recommend.
