		<description><![CDATA[I really enjoyed this cake! I made it with some applesauce I had preserved earlier in the season. The moistness provided by the applesauce and the decadence of the ramped-up spices really does make it feel like you&#039;re eating a slice of fall! The caramel sauce was really good with the cake, but was also excellent on just sliced apples. The spices in this cake are very pronounced (which I love) but if you&#039;re not a fan of overt spice flavors you might want to cut back a little bit.]]></description>
