		<description><![CDATA[I made this tonight and it was delicious! I used macintosh and golden delicious apples, about equal amounts of pear and apple. I forgot the nutmeg but will be sure to add it next time. I also added 1/2 cup flour and about 3/4 cup oats to the topping, might throw in some walnuts or pecans next time! Thanks for this easy and delicious (and versatile!) recipe, it will be a repeat for sure.]]></description>

Also I used &quot;uncrystallized&quot; candied ginger - which is what I had in the pantry. 2 tablespoons is a bit much and really punches up the spice. You want to use a single tablespoon of the crystallized ginger. Hopefully, it will get better as it sets.]]></description>
