I had just printed this cake recipe from another site and hopped on her and saw it again! That must mean I’m meant to make it the weekend! I have also seen it callede Texas White Sheet Cake. I make the chocolate version which is DIVINE. Can’t wait to try this one. Think I will do almond and a little vanilla flavoring. Would also be good with walnuts or pecans in the icing. YUM!!!

I made these using mini muffin tins. Baked for 15 minutes then dunked the tops in the icing after they cooled. So, SO delicious!

Total yumminess. I got this recipe a long time ago when it was called, “White Texas Sheet Cake”. Glad to see it again. So easy and so delish.

The flavor was fantastic, but it was too moist – gooey, almost. I baked it for the full 25 minutes (and my oven tends to run a little hot), but it still seemed not baked long enough. I used a 9×13, so next time I will use a bigger pan. I also lightly sprayed the bottom of the cake pan, though it didn’t say to. I can’t imagine it making that much of a difference, though. We ate around the edges, and threw the center away.
