I especially liked the fact that this recipe doesn’t use Crisco. The almond flavor was perfect! I think I’ll try a less/no corn syrup and more milk next time, though, to cut the sweet a little. Just used it on sugar cookies. I used whipping cream instead of milk because I had it on hand. I thinned mine out alot so I could use the flooding technique. It is so yummy! And she’s right, it DOES take longer than you think to mix to the right consistency. Put the ingredients in the Kitchen Aid and leave the room! When you come back, it will be heaven! I didn’t have corn syrup to thin the frosting out, but I used milk and it worked fine. Corn Syrup is going on the grocery list for the next time I make this.
