Psssst.Maybe for me and the many times I have made them I also was baking with Citrus and that must have cut down on inside onion odor?! An idea for next time if you should decide to make them again-bake some type of citrus dessert-Lemon is my go to in cupcakes, or sheet pan cake. Thanks again.
