The bread on this easy to make delectable ham, turkey and Swiss Cheese sandwich is dunked in an egg mixture and the whole thing is pan fried to golden perfection.

In a wide bowl whisk your eggs and milk together.
Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on 2 slices of bread and a 1 tablespoon mustard on the other 2 slices of bread. Now place one piece of Swiss Cheese on each slice of bread. Then layer each mayonnaise slice with 2 slices ham and 2 slices turkey. Bring the pieces of the bread together to form 2 full sandwiches. Using a cutting board gently compress the sandwich a bit.
Now melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium low heat. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture; turning to coat both sides. Add the sandwich to the hot skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides. Cover the pan with a loose piece of aluminum foil to make sure the cheese melts and any egg mixture cooks through.
If desired sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with a side of strawberry or raspberry jam.

This Hot Brown also known as a Kentucky Hot Brown or a Louisville Hot Brown is an open faced sandwich layered with turkey, crisp bacon, sun ripened tomatoes and creamy cheese sauce.

Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium low heat. Whisk in flour; whisking continuously for 2-3 minutes. Slowly add milk; whisking continuously. Cook over low heat until thickened; stirring frequently. Whisk in ground cayenne pepper. Reduce heat and add cheddar and Parmesan slowly. Continue stirring until cheese is completely melted. Salt and pepper to taste.
Toast bread, microwave the deli meat for 10-15 seconds to get the chill off. Assemble sandwich by dividing the turkey over the four slices of toast. Add several tablespoons of the sauce to each sandwich. Top with tomato slices and 2 slices of bacon. Divide the rest of the sauce between the sandwiches. Sprinkle with a little bit of grated Parmesan and a sprinkle of paprika. Place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned. Make sure you keep an eye on the sandwiches under the broiler as I have always found broilers unpredictable.

Lightly toast the rye bread and then spread with margarine. Evenly spread over the cream cheese. Top with smoked salmon.

Using a speed peeler, peel the cucumber and roll each piece. Place on top of the smoked salmon. Feel free to simply slice the cucumber if you are short on time or just can’t be bothered—it will taste just as good!

Lightly tear the dill and scatter over the top. Finish with a dusting of freshly ground black pepper.

This Steak Stuffed French Bread starts with a good crusty loaf of French Bread stuffed with perfectly seasoned sauteed steak. Then this beauty is topped with gooey mozzarella and buttery provolone cheese. It is easy and quick to put together making it the perfect lunch or even weeknight dinner.

Remove top third of the loaf by cutting around the bread several times with a sharp knife. Keep the knife at an angle that goes slightly downward. Remove the insides creating a boat. Try to leave about 1/2 inch of bread all the way around.

Add oil to skillet over medium high heat. Add steak and cook until browned and slightly crispy on the edges, approximately 5–7 minutes. If the steak produces any moisture while cooking, drain right away. You don’t want your steak boiling. You want to almost stir fry it.

Reduce heat to low and add garlic. Continue cooking for 30 seconds. Stir in soy sauce, Sriracha, Worcestershire sauce, ginger and ketchup. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Spoon beef mixture into French bread boat. Top with cheese and bake at 350ºF for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Turn broiler on the last minute of cooking just to brown the cheese a touch. Stay close by broilers as broilers are unpredictable.

Sloppy, messy, delicious pulled pork sandwiches with a from scratch BBQ sauce, and a sweet, tangy and creamy slaw for topping. Serve with napkins!

Heat oven to 300º. In a heavy, oven safe skillet (like a cast iron) heat oil on stove top to hot, almost smoking. Combine rub ingredients in a medium bowl. Rub pork rub seasonings all over every side of the pork roast. Sear in the skillet about 30 seconds on each side. Remove from heat. Pour beer or ginger ale all around the pork in the same skillet. Cover and cook for 7 hours.

In a sauce pan over medium heat, combine all sauce ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes. When pork is fork-tender and able to pull apart with a fork, pour sauce all over and toss to combine and make saucy. Return to the oven, covered, for 20 minutes to heat through.

Whisk mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice, salt and pepper for the slaw dressing and toss with the cabbage and carrots.

Top buns with sauced, shredded pork, top with creamy slaw and serve.
