This turned out totally amazing and delicious. The color is quite beautiful. I am a beginner with canning and this was very easy to make and the directions were spot on. Thank you for such a lovely recipe.

Thanks ladies! I’m so glad you liked it! I have some jars in my pantry from over a year ago. I try to use them by the year mark but I’ve never had a problem going over that. No need to freeze, cool and dark is just perfect. Have a good day all.

I do have a question, how long will this keep? Can it be kept in a cool dark place or is the freezer the best place?

Easy even for a beginner, and it tastes amazing. I made this using frozen blackberries that I allowed to thaw about halfway. I will be making more of this as gifts for Christmas.
