This was enjoyed by all six picky eaters in my family. As posted, the recipe made 9 4×4 square waffles in our Belgian Waffle maker. That was plenty for us when we supplemented with fruit and bacon! Yummy. Thanks for posting!

My search is over! After trying 6 different recipes, I’ve finally found the best waffles. My only modification was swaping the sugar for 1T packed brown sugar. This is the best recipe for waffles I could ask for. Thanks for posting this!

Very good! My husband and I really enjoyed these! I didn’t really feel like waiting 30 minutes, but they still turned out great! Will definitely make these again! A simple and easy recipe!

We tried 5 basic waffle recipes before WoIG, and the others were overly-eggy and bland. WoIG have the right ratio of ingredients, with the waffles being light and crispy, with a touch of richness. All 25 people at our Christmas brunch loved them. When everything else was eaten, folks were coming back for seconds and thirds of WoIG! Note: recipe only makes three 7″ waffles, so you’ll probably have to double it for a larger family.

This was my first attempt at waffles with my new waffle iron I got for Christmas. They turned out great! Light and crispy and yummy! I added blueberries to some and dried cherries to some for my husband. The recipe made the perfect amount for just the two of us. Thanks for sharing!

Corn starch– perfecto. I separated the eggs and whisked the whites adding folding them in at the end. Very good waffles. The kids ate them up and I got none. Here’s to doubling the recipe from now on.
