Although they taste OK, I agree with the above review that they are a little dense and don’t develop that nice crispy waffle edge. The waffles taste wonderful; however, they are on the dense side. So, I think it depends on how you like your waffles. If you want them airy, then I would look to another recipe. But if you like them more dense, then these are for you! I also have an ancient wafflemaker, which could contribute to the density issue!
