It was messy, but TOTALLY worth it. I used strawberry pie filling because it was what I had on hand. I have never liked French toast in any form, but this was extremely good. The warm cream cheese and fruity pie filling made for a perfect compliment to the French toast. I will be trying this with other flavors too. Lots of room for playing with this one.
