These were good, but even better with a couple simple tweaks. There was no salt in this recipe and I could definitely tell. They came out a little bland. Next time I'd add 1/2 tsp. to the dry ingredients. I would also cut back on the buttermilk as the batter was a bit too runny even after letting it rest.

I pretty much made these as stated in the recipe but substituted some chia seeds for the flax and added a couple mashed bananas. Make sure you only use the 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake as stated because they didn't cook very evenly otherwise. I found these cooked a lot better on a lower temperature, the outsides burned quickly. This recipe definitely has potential. Thanks!

Easy to make (if you don't mind the extra step of grinding the nuts and oats, which I don't), easy to cook. Delicious, hearty and much healthier than most pancakes. I have been looking for a recipe like this and I'm so happy to have finally found what I want, thanks!

Thank you for these! I have been looking for just this kind of hearty, healthy pancake recipe. Made them this morning and my husband and I loved them.

I liked that the batter was not so thick as some others, and easy to scoop and pour into the pan. Also, they cook really quickly!

I used just walnuts, brown sugar instead of raw sugar, and made my own buttermilk using milk and lemon juice. Had some with maple syrup, and some with mashed up fresh strawberries.

Next time I will try making them with fruit in the batter - blueberries, bananas, or chunky applesauce.
