I only tried them because of the name (who can resist a grandma’s recipe?) and I’m so glad I did. They’re really fluffy and they have just the right amount of sweetness. The only change I made was to reduce the salt since I was using salted butter. I really loved them plain with barely any syrup. That’s a good recipe!

I just made them this morning and my girls loved them (as did I). I used skim milk so they were pretty thin. Next time I’ll use a 2% milk and maybe just a little less.
