Our new Saturday morning staple! I leave the recipe out and my husband, whose idea of cooking is hamburger helper, makes them in the morning. Easy and SO good! Love that you can't over-beat them like most pancakes. My only complaint... making a double batch every Saturday, we've been seriously going through the baking powder!

I used this recipe this morning. I got it from another site a while back and just cooked them this morning. It is the same except it calls for a whole cup of flour. They were the fluffiest pancakes ever. I think using less of the flour as in this recipe would have made them even better.

They were a little salty though. I think next time I will go lighter on the salt and maybe add a little vanilla extract.

I'm going to hold off on rating this recipe until I've had a chance to make this again. I made these pancakes exactly as written, using a skillet over medium heat. Although the pancakes turned out fluffy and golden on the outside, the insides were not done at all. Had I left the pancakes on the skillet until the insides were cooked, I would have ended up with burnt pancakes. Next time, I will definitely use low heat and hopefully the outsides and insides will cook more evenly. (Side note: I was amazed at how fluffy the batter was! The baking powder really thickens things up!)

These were really good...I think that you need to let the batter sit for several minutes to thicken on its own before cooking, Will try again hoping for the big fluffy ones.

I have to admit, if it wasn't for all the great reviews, I probably would not have tried this recipe--2 TBSP baking powder, wow! But, like everybody else, I tried them and they are great! I made a double recipe and everyone gobbled them up, my 4 year old asked for them again the next day! It's definitely replacing my old standby!

Absolutely fabulous. I really had to be PATIENT (not my strong suit) when flipping, so wait until the bubbles come - not just at the edges. Fluffy, light, delicious. Thank you!

Love these! I usually make a recipe that uses buttermilk, but decided to try these this morning since I didn't have any buttermilk on hand... I may make these from now on! I like that there is not a ton of oil or butter in them, but they still taste very rich. The fat content is similar to my "light" buttermilk recipe. Thanks for sharing!
