I thought this was just ok. We didn’t think it tastes like bread pudding just pancakes. Possibly adding some different flavoring would improve it?

They really taste like french toast! It hit both of my cravings in one go.

I was careless and forgot to cut of the crusts (don’t do this), and so I pulsed them in the blender a couple of times. They still turned out great, but I’d like to try it the correct way.

Mixed in the cut apples with the syrup to make a fruit syrup – awesome!

I will make this many more times — I love the idea (and the taste).

I made this Christmas morning and we all loved it. It tastes like pancakes AND french toast. I doubled the recipe and it made enough for us to have it again tomorrow. The recipe yield is accurate.
