Found the flavor to be a little on the mild side and would increase the spices a little next time - lovely with a little dusted powdered sugar and if you want it extra sweet add some maple syrup drizzle!

I loved the way this tasted, but to be honest I wasn't a fan of the cooked apples, but the doughy pancake part was awesome (leave it to me to not like the one healthy bit of this recipe) however the BF loved it and he is picky when it comes to sweet things. This was easy and smelled wonderful, I think I'll try it with different apples next time to see how it goes.

* if you're baking in a skillet that has a gentle slope all will be fine; however, if your pan has a 90 degree angle (as mine did) the parts near the angle will be over done and stick to the pan, just an fyi.

It's possible that you overcooked it a little. It should be dense and have a texture similar to Yorkshire pudding.

Made this for a lazy Sunday brunch. It tasted wonderful but the texture of the pancake part was a bit rubbery . . . did I do something wrong or is that how it is supposed to be?
