I put it directly on my pancakes without any additional butter smeared on them. It’s rich but not sickeningly sweet like store bought syrups. It’s probably the first time I’ve eaten pancakes without feeling ill afterward. Of course, this means I’ll be eating pancakes more often which can’t be good. : )
