(Thought about pointing out it’s too late – I’m already hitched). Kid was satisfied (although he’s satisfied with the fact mommy got up to make breakfast). I was slightly disappointed with the crumbliness of the lemon tea bread as it became french toast. Being the sacrificial mom I am, I took the crumbliest bits. I also didn’t have wild blueberries so the commercial kinds had to suffice, and I cooked them up into a sauce. A little powdered sugar on top and what a beautiful presentation!
