Excellent! I especially appreciate that it isn’t soaked in butter and heavy cream. This lighter version is perfect and very tasty. A touch of maple syrup is all it needs.

Easy, quick, and made the house smell nice. But it is rather bland–like a mix between french toast and bread pudding without being as good as either one is on its own. I did let it soak overnight, and it was still bland, so I would strongly suggest against not doing the soaking (I suspect it would have less flavor still).

Easy, quick recipe. Fired it up on a Sunday night with a fresh extra loaf of homemade French bread. Threw it in the oven Monday morning and was ready for the kids to devour when they got up. Thanks for this one.

I used a loaf od Honey Oat bread since that’s what I had. It still turned out great! Just the right sweetness!

This was amazing. I used Maple Syrup for the topping, as it’s impossible to get agave nectar here in Australia, but it was so delicious with the syrup.

I’m definitely starting a new Easter breakfast tradition with this!
