This was the perfect Sunday breakfast for our house guests this weekend. But they had to hit the road early and it wasn't done yet. So my husband and I demolished it. It's good stuff and quite easy to make. I had made PW's stuffed mushrooms the other day and used the left over stuffing as my 'sausage' mix. It was awesome. I served it with a dollop of sour cream.

Next time, I'm going to make this with regular sausage and mix it with some spicy blackberry jam and use that as the filling. I also considered using little breakfast sausages, cut up and granny smith apples in the middle and serve with hot syrup. The possibilities are endless!

Loved how the bisquick mixed up perfectly with milk and mayo! It is messy and you will get your fingers gooey spreading it, but so worth while!
