We lost our favorite Dutch Baby recipe last year (don’t ask me how!) and have tried a few others in search of another great one. We haven’t had any luck.

Until now! This Dutch Baby has that lovely, over-the-top egg-y flavor we’ve been looking for, and it looks spectacular coming out of the oven! The only thing I’d change would be to reduce the butter by two or three tablespoons. Thanks, JennD. My kids are very happy that we found this!

Dani – I have a large stone bowl that I use. If you make a smaller serving than 5 you could probably use a cake pan. Some skillets are oven safe and you could use that also.

My kids and husband love Dutch Baby! When they were little, I’d have their friends over and make that as a treat! If I see them today, they still ask for it! Thanks for the post!

This is probably a terribly silly question, but what kind of oven-safe pan do you recommend? Would a round cake pan suffice?

We do something very similar and I add baking apples to the top with some cinnamon and sugar mixture…so good! My husband will ask for this a couple times a month for Saturday breakfast!!! NUMMY!

My kids LOVE this! We used to make it as a special treat when they had friends over. To this day, the friends still ask about Dutch Babies! Thanks for posting it!
