I tried two totally different chocolate gravy recipes this past weekend and they both went in the garbage disposal. I haven’t had it in years and the person who made it for me is long gone so I am hoping that this is the recipe to beat all!

I can’t wait to make this for my daughter. My mom is spending the night with us tonight, and she would make it for me when I was young. This is definitely our breakfast menu for tomorrow.

My grandma used to make this for all her little possum kitties ( thats what she called her grandbabies) … you must be from the south! I havent had chocolate gravy years Im gonna have to try to make it

My grandmother used to make chocolate sandwiches; we’d spread the chocolate sauce over buttered bread. YUMMY. Thanks for the memories!

This was a favorite of mine growing up in Oklahoma. I used to spend the night at my girlfriend’s house and her mother always made this as a special treat…..that was many years ago. Thanks for the recipe.

They have a similar recipe in the “Sweet Potato Queens Big Ass Cookbook.” My grandmother made these as a special treat when I was a kid too…..So this is a very kid-friendly recipe! Delish!

Its not super chocolatey. It’s only 2 tbsp of cocoa. Think of a warm pudding. Its really delicious and creamy.

It’s probably just me but chocolate for breakfast?? with biscuits??

Maybe my tastes are too healthy but this just doesn’t appeal.
