The first time, I followed the recipe exactly, and there were two problems: 1 – they were dry, and 2 – a bit bland. But the recipe was so easy, I decided to try it again. I doubled the spices, and tested for doneness early. My loaves were done after only 40 minutes. With these two modifications, the recipe is definitely a keeper!

For the pumpkin spice I used:
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves

I also threw chocolate chips in one of the loaves :). Mmmmmmm…
