When I told my mom I was planning on making pitas, she sort of scoffed and said she had never had any luck making pitas before; they never had pockets. But these were so easy and perfect! They all puffed and had great pockets! I didn’t end up using the broiler for the last part. I baked them for 6 minutes each, flipping at the 3 minute mark, which worked great. Everyone loved them, and the best part is that the recipe makes enough so there are some for the next few days! Thanks for a great recipe!

Easy to make and tasty. Mine puffed up nicely to make great pockets. They even got nice and golden on the outside by using the bottom shelf in my oven and flipping the pita so both sides browned evenly.

I made these last night and just tried one for lunch (stuffed with turkey, cheese and veggies)- So delicious!!! Mine didn’t split apart super easily, but I always have trouble with store-bought ones too (perhaps they just don’t like splitting for me??). Will definitely make again!

They are!! Once you cut them in half they almost split apart themselves!! They are VERY delicious!! I like toserve them with peanut butter and honey too!!

These look great! Are they easy to split apart into a pocket? Either way, can’t wait to make them!
