Texture of the buns wasn’t as soft as I was expecting — but I used regular instead of instant so I don’t know if that affected it much

This was a great recipe and my family loved these! For the lady who thought they were too light and flaky, try using regular vanilla pudding (the boxed kind you cook on the stovetop) rather than instant. This makes your dough more “traditional” or heavier. It does not rise quite as well, either, but my family absolutely loved them! This is our Christmas morning treat! (Except we end up eating them on Christmas Eve too, as we can’t wait!).

Again..thank you…this is a recipe I’ve used for years and never did have the frosting. Tried the one you use and it was the BEST frosting ever..the kids asked me to come here and thank you! You saved the day!

I tried these rolls yesterday and thought they were less than average. I had high hopes they be really good after reading other’s reviews. I thought the dough was too light and fluffy for my liking. I think I prefer a more traditional cinnamon roll dough. The frosting was just ok.

These are the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever made. I did them on cookie sheets and got about 30 large rolls out of one batch. They are so soft and the icing is amazing! I will be adding this to my favorite recipes book!

I took my sister one of these and she called me and said, “just make these for Thanksgiving dessert and I’ll be happy.” My daughter responded, “Obviously she doesn’t know you, everybody knows you can’t make just one dessert for a holiday.”

Well I was looking for a new cinnamon roll recipe and so
I made these this afternoon and they were absolutely delicious! I thought we would have them for breakfast tomorrow but no one wanted to wait.
This is the first time I have ever served cinnamon rolls for dessert with dinner.
An added bonus was how easy to make they were. I was a bit worried that the cold milk from making the pudding wouldn’t work out too good mixing right away with the yeast mixture so I made the pudding and let it sit a bit before I added it.
