A bit finicky to make, but the results were worth the effort. My boyfriend raved about them, so I'll be making them again.

I had to butter my hands to keep the dough from sticking to my fingers.

Snickerdoodles are my favorite cookie so I couldn't wait to try these. I made them for a potluck at work and everyone loved them! I've also had two guy friends of mine begging for a batch of them and I'm making some this weekend for them (and for me!)...

Thanks so much for a great recipe.

Very yummy muffins. I made these last night and they were good. I will say that it was difficult handling the dough in the cinnamon/sugar mixture though. Next time I will probably do what Ms. Barrows did and refrigerate the dough so it's not so soft when it gets that coating. Very light and fluffy muffin though!

Been meaning to try these for a couple of weeks and just finally made them this afternoon. I was really wondering what the texture of the dough would be like, with the only moisture being the eggs and sour cream, and it was incredible - light and rich - the word that kept springing to mind was "suave". It was already starting to fluff up by the time I finished folding in the last of the flour and sour cream. There was enough to make about 20 muffins - would have been more but I made them a little on the large size.

First batch came out of the oven about 10 minutes ago, my nephew and I shared one. I was amazed by how light and cake-y the dough was, and the taste... OMNOMNOM!

Definitely making these again some time. I did notice that the second tray of them was easier to work with - I'd put the dough in the fridge while the first batch was cooking and it was therefore a little on the stiffer side. I think next time I'll mix the dough first, then chill it while the stove preheats.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!

I just made a batch. OMG they are my new guilty pleasure. Well maybe I don't feel too guilty. But my mouth sure did love them. Thanks for the recipe.
