These are great, and surprisingly easy! It was just like making pizza dough. They taste good, but unfortunately they didn’t store amazingly overnight. The powdered sugar sorta dissolved on the top the next morning, so if you are storing them overnight I would recommend not dusting them with sugar until you are going to eat them. Tasty though.

What a great recipe. They look delicious! I’ve loved beignets ever since I first ate them in New Orleans years ago.

Hmmm. . .I could eat a truckload of these, so I don’t if having a lightened version is a good thing or a bad thing. I’m going with ‘good’ and plan to make them soon! =)
