I must admit - I was calling you names :) The dough is very sticky and thick and I didn't see how these could possibly be good...they're not good; they're amazing! Chocolatey but not overly sweet - they are almost like a brownie. I flattened my dough between two sheets of waxed paper and cut them (scone-like) with a pizza cutter. My husband can't do nuts, so I just put in the chocolate chips with an extra handful of vanilla chips and dipped the tops of the cooled scones in simple glaze. Oh my...these are GOOD! Thanks for making me a believer in this sticky-dough-scone...and I apologize for any snarky comment I may have made prior to tasting these :)

Congratulations! You're my first recipe on Tasty Kitchen! And...(drum roll)...it was a success! I changed it slightly based on what I had, but it still came out quick and tasty. I used Special Dark cocoa powder, semi-sweet chocolate chips and chocolate Soy Milk. I even sprinkled a tiny bit of kosher salt on each one for an added depth of flavor. Very chocolately, just the way I like it! Thanks!

Made these yesterday a.m. to take with me to work at lys (local yarn store). They received rave reviews, and had requests for recipe. Did have to tweak this a little due to what I had on hand. Chopped pecans, semi sweet chocolate chips. Also added 2 t instant coffee granules to wet ingredients and a little cinnamon to the dry. I like both of these in whatever I make chocolate. Thanks for a great recipe.
